Undergraduate
Program
Our program's internationally integrated curriculum is designed to
prepare students to be effective and responsible managers in
today's dynamic business environment.
Our department recognizes the need in the industry for
professional education in both Accounting and Information
Management or Law Studies. Each
student in our department is required to have dual skills not only
in their major Accounting but also in Law or Information
Management as their concentration field.
Students must choose their concentration field at the
second semester of freshman year.
Our Department offers a four-year program leading to the degree of
Bachelor of Accounting. A student must complete a minimum of 143
credit units, which include 83 credits of core courses in various
fields of Accounting and 18 credits of concentration courses in
Law or Information Management field. We also design a curriculum
for students to accomplish the requirement for secondary major in
Law or Information Management within 5 years.
Graduate
MBA Program
The purpose of our graduate program is to develop specialized
academic researchers and to foster high-ranking management
specialists and teachers of higher education. In addition to the
required basic courses, graduate students must also have dual
skills in information management fields and complete their thesis
under the guidance of an advisor.
The
Graduate Institute of Accounting offers a two-to-four-year program
leading to the degree of Master of Business Administration.
A minimum of 24 credits of coursework plus a master's
thesis are required for the MBA program.
Executive
MBA Program
The executive MBA program of the Department has been aimed to
provide industry’s high ranking professionals an opportunity to
develop analytical skills and tools they need in complex,
ever-changing organizations.
This program is designed to meet the needs of individuals
who typically work during the weekday.
All the courses are offered during the weekend.
This program’s curriculum emphasizes on the integration of
accounting practice and information management technology.
Students with accounting background will receive intensive
training in information technology.
On the other hand, for students with information technology
background, their curriculum will be emphasized on accounting and
general management.
Our courses will be offered in a group discussion and case study
mode. Teamwork study
is our major scheme. Real
industry case and problems will be brought up in class not only to
promote discussion among faculty and practitioners but also to
provide consulting advice for students to resolve their
company’s current problems.
Our
program will require 42 credits of courses, which include 21
credits of required courses, 15 credits in elective courses, and 6
